Annual St. Joseph Happy Days Festival Is Saturday

   The annual St. Joseph Happy Days Festival will get underway Saturday at St. Joseph City Park.

   Live music will highlight the festival, featuring the talents of Country Legends Band, The Huntley Sisters, The Cadillacs, larry Berry, Jessica Jenkins, Lacey Snider, Cari Pellum, and others. “Jammers welcome.” Visitors are advised to bring lawn chairs.

   Other festival features are:  arts and crafts, food vendors, dunking machine, and pony rides.

   The festival is held in conjunction with the Lawrence County Chamber of Commerce-sponsored Cavalcade of Cars. The cavalcade of approximately 300 cars is scheduled to arrive at the park around 11:00 a.m. where they will be available for viewing to the public at no cost.

   All proceeds raised through the Happy Days Festival will go to the St. Joseph Volunteer Fire Department.

   The festival will begin at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, June 9, 2007. The park is located on Spring Street, east of U.S. Highway 43.
